BTW, the 00/01 harvests of Los Vascos are considered substantially poorer than 99 was. I need to find a new good everyday wine.

I checked the label, this was a 1999.

Try Bonny Doone's "Big House Red" (ignore the screw top - that's a recent change and it's actually quite a good wine). Or Marietta Cellars "Marietta/California Old Vine Red Lot #29". Both are pretty good as everyday table wines.
