Song Lyrics and Addictions
Feb. 12th, 2003 10:39 amMy local NPR station, WAMU has been doing their spring fundraising drive early this year, and one of the themes, given that Black Friday is this week, has been how much people love NPR (and, hence, that they should give money). As part of this hokiness, they've been playing some song lyrics, and the one that I can't get out of my head now is some country singer singing:
I love... little baby ducks,
Old pick-up trucks,
Slow moving trains,
and rain.
ARGH!
In other news, I give up on the no caffeine thing. I embrace the addiction fully, at least for the next two weeks, and to fuck with my health. *grumble* And, to help me along in this, the lady at Cosi who normally makes me my nice, caffeine free soy milk steamer drink gave me the gigante cup of Guatemalen regular this morning for free (Here you go honey, welcome back to the dark side...).

And I....love you, too. :-D
Tom T. Hall lives, baby.
