Melting...

"Melt, damn you, melt!" (sayeth Moose, to the snow that is melting all over the place in the lovely mid-40s temps we have today)

Loverly today today for walking around. Going to try and go running in the park in a few, though I suspect the trail is probably still all icky. No matter, I'll run through mud and snow if it means I can avoid using a treadmill!

Saw lioncub "off" today. Well, not really, but it's likely the last time I'll see him before he takes off for training for two weeks on Monday, so it was "off" all the same.

Am thinking of signing up for the Rock & Roll Half-Marathon late this summer down in Va Beach. Pluses: It's out of town, it's near my parents (no hotel!), it'll be a fun run. We'll see. In the meantime, I got new socks today (running socks get worn out fast), so is almost time to try them out...

Unfortunately, no. Plain blue and white. *sigh* Just have to find a northern running company, I guess. ;-)

Ooh, definitely sign up! My friend Julie and I are both signed up for it--it's supposed to be a lot of fun.
