Commuting

Today was not the day to commute into DC, it seems. First there's the guy on the tractor in the middle of the pond at Constitution Gardens (they closed several federal agencies because of this man!) who's still tying up traffic from yesterday afternoon, and then a delay on the metrorail yellow line which screwed up the yellow, blue and green lines. Whee!

I took the metrorail (green line), and was only slightly delayed, and was amused when our train was converted to a yellow line one at Mount Vernon Square (didn't affect my commute).

In other news, I travel out to Southern Illinois again tomorrow evening and return late Friday evening. Whee! I really, really need to sign up for these frequent flier mile programs...

I think frequent flier programs are great. I got a free trip to Europe as a result of all my flying. Not to mention a trip within the US. If you fly a lot there's no reason not to sign up.

OMG you travel without getting miles!

check out flyertalk.com

But definitely try to fly one airline the whole time and try and get status.
