Am in an exceedingly foul mood this evening, and I can't quite pinpoint why. I cancelled on Lawrence - his friends were taking him to a concert tonight and I was invited, but I just don't do live rock music well or gracefully, so I bowed out instead.

No call back from T (the crush). *grump*

Shopping today was only okay. Nothing clothes-wise jumped out at me and all the jeans I found that looked nice had leather patches, which I won't purchase. Not to mention having to shop alone. :-p Was realizing I have very few friends I can call up and just say, "Hey, let's go shopping today, umkay?" I mean, I know a ton of people, but I don't have that many close friends here in town. And of those one is out of town, one was baking, one was out with friends and two were not returning my phone messages. :-p

I still need to clean, too. Ugh. Little dust kitties are rolling across the floor. ;-)

So, came home after shopping, made food (spinach salad - yum), opened some wine, killed some monsters, now decided to hop online and am chatting with folks.

Okay, I realize that you're a Fashionable Gay Man, and this might not be allowed. But at Lands' End (http://www.landsend.com) you can have some items custom-made, including jeans. And although most of their jeans have that useless leather patch, it's possible that this is one thing that could be customized. I don't know whether or not that's true, but they do have the supercool web chat customer service feature, and you could ask.

Now that leather patch is bugging me. It's really pointless, but ubiquitous, like the bows on bras. Which I also hate.

I was always a fan of the leather patch on Levi's 'cause it was free advertising of how small my waist had gotten. ;-) Now that I don't want to wear dead cow, though, it's annoying. Surely they could do without?
