Oatmeal

My rice cooker does a pretty good job of cooking oatmeal, as long as you watch it during the last ten minutes to keep it from spilling gunk out over the sides.

I've noticed that Oatmal likes to do that in general... it's something of an escape artist. Even when I microwave it an an appropriate dish it just... attacks the outside world.

In the microwave I usually use a splatter screen to keep it in place, but no such luck on the rice cooker.

I wish I had a splatter screen... tho I get the impression that the oatmeal just oozes out of it's own volition. *ponder*
