No specific reason, but how hard is it to convert your Windoze files over to Apple? I'm still seriously considering making the switch to an Apple from the PC world.

I recently helped my Dad, lifecoach "switch" from his Windows ME machine to a new 12" Powerbook. So far he hasn't had any real problems that a call to me couldn't solve.
And no... that is not an offer to be your personal phone tech support.
quite easy. most of the program-specific documents are cross-platform, and the ones that aren't are pretty easliy converted using some cheap software. microsoft makes just about everything for mac that it makes for PC, and if you get lonesome for your windows environment, Mac's can even run a windows shell with Virtual PC. Pretty swanky, huh?
You know what I love about Macs? The engineering of everything. I bought an Apple 17" flat-panel display today, and plugged it into the video card in my G4...this one cable carries digital video, power and USB to the monitor. Just one cable. So I then plugged my keyboard into the back of the monitor, and there are extras there if, I dunno, I get happy and wanna plug the QuickCam in. And since it's in the monitor, it's a powered hub, so things that need power (like Zip drives or something that don't have their own power supply) will work fine plugged into it.
And of course, needless to say, the monitor's appearance and the quality of the display are magnificent.
