The eyes have it
Apr. 18th, 2003 04:34 pmTax refund came in today. Woo-hoo! That means time to get new glasses. Yes! :)
Eye appointment 5/2 at 8 in the morning (hey, beats taking sick leave - I need to hoard that stuff). Then seeing if there's anything like a decent assortment at Kaiser (I doubt it!), then off to my old eye doctor to get something fabulous. I'll have Kaiser do the new lenses for my old glasses (keeping those for running), but not the new ones.
Am very psyched about this. New hair, new chin fuzz, new glasses. Now if I could just make more progress on new/old waistline. ;-) Such a lazy boy I am in that department. Can't help it, I like food. *grin* "Food is good," as Lawrence would say.
And, to top it off, we got "59 minutes" today, so I'll leave in 15 minutes and get home early. I think it's a "make a light dinner, have a glass of wine, and sit down with a good book and then get to bed early" kind of night.
