Everything Old is New Again

legalmooseWell, cable modem's down again. Let's hear it for dialup! :-p Thank heavens I maintain two accounts, the cable and my old dialup ISP.
I think it's the patch job they did last Tuesday - I went down and looked at the wiring in the burnt out closet (trash fire, remember?) and it's all still patched and not quite all new yet. I'm surprisingly not upset at this, as I wasn't really upset last week, either. Not much they can do when some idiot dumps a cigarette down the trash chute and burns up all the wiring.
So, no high speed connection. :-p And here I was going to pay bills online tonight (including the cable modem service!). Ah well.
Tomorrow it's off to the eye doctor and then picking out new glasses, then off to my local Police Service Area meeting for the neighborhood (my life is law enforcement).
