Endless meetings

legalmooseI spent today, in no particular order:
1. Not doing enough productive work at work.
2. Doing lots of productive work at home (from 9 pm til now, almost midnight - knocked out three major writing projects).
3. In yet another police meeting.
4. Getting my new prescription from the Hellish HMO (45 minutes late to finally see the doctor, thankyouverymuch) and picking out new glasses frames by ProDesign at my old eye doctor's place.

Whee.
Will get the new glasses in a few days, maybe Saturday. Am looking forward to a) new prescription and b) new look. Darker, smaller frames, glare resistant lenses (better for pictures), etc. Yum.
