Sat down, worked out a budget, seeing what, if anything, more I can afford in the way of a gym.
If I really make this much each month, and only spend that much (thank you, Quicken), and this much is more than that much, where else does the stuff go, that I always seem to be scraping?!?!?

Now, large purchases aside (eye glasses...), I should have a nice amount each month to squirrel away or play with. This shall have to be investigated further...

Date: 2003-06-21 08:02 am (UTC)Seriously, though, you might look at the bills' due-dates and see if you can move one or more of them to the other half of the month to better-allocate recurring expenses. Some financial institutions are willing to adjust due-dates and maybe one or more of your credit cards' issuers would be. I've had less luck in the past adjusting utility company payments' due-dates, but maybe they don't suck as badly now. Just a thought.
