Summer's here!
Supposed to get to the mid-90s here in DC, no rain in sight (yay!), and light humidity this morning. Was a nice morning for a run, and I am pleased to say no twinges from the ankle from Sunday. Yay. I really, really truly need to a) get more running shirts and possibly another pair of shorts, and b) wash the ones I have. Um, ew?
I fully admit that I've become a running shirt snob. I no longer like running in cotton race shirts - they're too heavy now. I've become spoiled to the lighter, cooler (temperature-wise), artificial fabrics like Cool-Max and the like. Even if the one sleeveless top I have hates me and wants to saw my arms off on long runs.
