Good evening

Got off work early.
Killed monsters (not quite up to level 30 on this damned paladin, but getting there...).
Chatted online.
Wanted to kill chatters.
Finally got a call from a friend, went to the dreaded JRs.
Lasted an hour there, forced said friend to leave the bar and go to hOmega.
Lasted an hour there, again forced said friend to leave and go to Sadlands Apex.
Had the first alcohol I've had in 2-3 months. A single Jack and Coke. Mellowed me enough, didn't need any more.
Danced.
Danced.
Danced.
Left after an hour of dancing, caught a ride with said friend's boyfriend who happened to be driving down P Street. Came home.
About to catch a shower and get the smoke off of my hair.
A good evening.

No one supposed to be crashing with me, though I may get a call from a random vegan who was online earlier Thursday afternoon.

Diablo II Expansion: Lord of Destruction. One of my fave games with the random level generators. One I get a paladin up to level 30 in the regular game, I'm pretty much unstoppable.

I love Diablo2:LoD
I usually play a druid or a barbarian though - I've never played a paladin- maybe I should try one. :)

I've played every character up through killing at least Diablo, except the Amazon. I found her too annoying. ;-)

Paladins can be cool with their auras. Once you get to level 30 and those powers, you can suck health and mana out of the dead bodies of your foes, meaning you almost never need health or mana potions.

Alcohol plus caffeine is a wonderful "mellow yet not falling asleep" feeling, yes. :) Good club combination.

My usual "none of my boys are in town and I don't know what to do with myself" reaction. :-/ At least I'm not getting blitzed, which would have been part of that reaction not that long ago. The dancing was fun, but I'm wiped out today. Will nap here shortly.

Oh, and ran into the AGI folks at JRs as they were leaving - gave everyone a hug. They were heading to dinner and had been at the bar for hours. ;-)

Glad you had a good time and that you have the entire day to recover...

I'm also glad to hear that you ran into my "girls" as they were stumbling out of the bar for food. That used to be a regular pattern for us as well. I'm so glad we're mostly over that.
