and I didn't even get to have fun getting this way. :-p
Is more than a tad sticky outside this evening, with the result that on the 15 minute walk from the Metro to my apartment building my shirts were soaked, literally. Um, ick! Makes me want to wear Coolmax™ to work, or at least on the way home from the same.
Commission meeting went well and SHORT this evening. Zipped through the works, got a lot of stuff to talk to my police folks with tomorrow night, and it again reaffirmed why I'm doing this. I'd been feeling kind of "why the hell am I doing this to myself" in the last two weeks, as I got upstaged by other commissioners on stuff that's supposedly in my domain. Tonight was a good meeting, so am feeling good again. :-)
See, even elected officials have their doubts. As if you had any question about that.
