I found and purchased two more bad movies for the next Soup and Bad Movies night:

Reefer Madness (1938)

and

The Cocaine Fiends (1935, a.k.a., "The Pace that Kills")

I love it. Can't wait to watch them this weekend and see how truly bad they are. And that reminds me, I need to schedule another Soup and Bad Movies night soon. Will have to look at dates.

REEFER MADNESS is fabulous. That was a high school favorite of me and [livejournal.com profile] beetrix.

Both! Though since my last comment, it is now confirmed that we will be making a trip up to DC next weekend. :) We should get together with or without a soup-and-bad-movies night...

We'll be in touch. Still need to make actual plans. Going up to meet the ex who's in town for the weekend. And I have another lawyer friend there. But a Moose tour sounds good. Maybe some recommendations of where to hang out with people?

I understand that you have joined the Y on Rhode Island. I could always use a workout buddy!
For a good drug themed movie night, try "Avenging Disco Godfather," a classic blaxplotation/drug trade movie.

Your fellow shorty,
Ethereal Lad
