You know, no one on any of my Trillian contact lists is awake at 8:30 on a Sunday morning. Strange, that. ;-)
lioncub just headed out the door to go on a bike ride with friends, and I'm out the door in about 45 minutes to ride to the pool for drills. An active morning, to be sure. Want to try and get to the gym a couple of times this week, around the running schedule. Running has to be the primary thing until after the 1/2 marathon, then will try to be more balanced around the 4 chosen activities - swim, bike, run, weights.
All this and trying to be a public official, too. Just call me, to borrow

Date: 2003-07-13 05:00 pm (UTC)But yeah, training starts far too early every Saturday. May and October's runs start at 8am, while June through September's start at 7am... except for four runs during July and August (the 14, 16, 18, and 20-milers) which start at 6am to keep everyone from dying of heatstroke.
There's something disconcerting about heading over to the run site while it's still dark, but when you finish and the temperature is still rising, it's ultimately a good thing. :)
