This past weekend I went to see <a href="http://www.sites.si.edu/exhibitions/martinprog.htm" target+"_blank">an exhibit at the <a href="http://www.si.edu/ripley/
target="_blank">Ripley center at the Smithsonian. The exhibit was on Martin Luther King.
There were a couple of pieces that really caught my eye. The one that I immediately tried to find a print of at the museum shops (to no avail, alas) was "My Country, Right or Wrong" by Cliff Joseph. It was painted at the height of the Vietnam war and depicts the pitfalls of blind patriotism. I found it particularly moving and appropriate in the current political environmen in the US.
