PB Quest

Cosi™ still doesn't have peanut butter and it was confirmed by the line workers that they have discontinued it.

The manager had stepped out, but I will see him sometime later in the week. Complaints will be lodged. Bitterness will be expressed. Dietary needs will be discussed.

In the meantime I now have a bottle of Jif™ and a plastic knife at my desk. Thank heavens for CVS.

No, I got one of their bagels, toasted, and put PB on it here at the office. Which may become moot if they decide not to carry PB since I can just buy a bagel downstairs for $0.30 cheaper, pop it in the toaster here at the office and put my own PB on it. :-p

Because their bagels taste better than the cheap-ass ones downstairs. :-p (the ones downstairs are merely "okay" - the cosi ones are much tastier; they probably add more fat to them or something, since fat = flavor)

And I don't want to turn my office into a kitchen, just a dining room (on occasion). ;)

Cosi managers are useless. Last time I spoke to one (about a line) he pointed to the woman in front of me and said BLAME HER she ordered 10 sandwiches

Mmmm... I've only discovered in the last few months the delight of PB. Have you ever had freshly made peanut butter? A friend of mine here swears by just-pressed peanut butter. She says the Whole Foods store has a machine that squishes roasted peanuts. I've got to try it sometime.

I have, yes. The health food cooperative I shopped at in college (it was literally right outside my back door) had fresh peanut butter. At home (as opposed to the Jif™ I have at work) I only get "natural" peanut butter, which is just peanuts, or peanuts and salt. Have to stir it together, but it's worth it for the flavor (and lack of sugar and other crap).
