Beaten

I feel like I've been beaten with a stick. Work has been particularly brutal this week, with way too many things going on and way too little time to do it (despite staying late a night or two). I don't know if that's why my sleep has been scant or if it's been another reason, but it's made me skip my workouts the past two mornings. No run yesterday, no gym this morning. I may do some light weights here at the apartment instead this morning, but I forgot to set my alarm last night and didn't get up in time to head out to the gym. Ah well.

The good news from yesterday is that I managed to score some basil last night at a farmer's market, so tonight's dinner will include fresh pesto.
