Was surfing the federal job announcements today and this has to be one of the worst looking attorney positions I've ever seen. At least they're honest in the thing: "The applicant must be flexible in terms of adjusting his/her work schedule to meet the needs of the judge and must be willing to work long days and some weekends, depending on the Judge’s schedule." Yuck. But I tell ya, if the successful applicant doesn't get a judgeship him or herself at the end of it, then something is very, very wrong there.
In other job news, I just learned that a position will be opening up for an attorney advisor on one of the other staffs I work with a lot, so there's something to look forward to.
And one of my field personnel who's leaving for another agency asked me for my resume to show the folks at her new Big Government Agency (BGA) to see if they have jobs there. It pays to be nice to the folks in the field. :)
Still no word from the application I have in with the other BGA, but it's too early to know yet. They won't have certified the qualified applicants quite yet. But I still have my fingers crossed.
