Did get to chat with fj and pinkfish, so all was not lost.

And took a pic of the new ring I got this weekend (see user icon, attached). An appropriate use for that ring in a picture, n'est pas?

(It's next to impossible to see any detail on the ring other than "it's a silver-toned band.")
