Woo! Thank you. Notice the name: the old, comfortable style is called "Dystopia" while the new one is called XColibur. Nonetheless, I hope they get the hint when they get multiple millions of requests to use the old layout again.

The static vertical list of options was simple, soothing, straightforward, refreshing, and familiar. I can't see that this is an improvement in any way.
