Yeah, so, the two big windows on the east side of the apartment (the windward side) are leaking. Thankfully housekeeping just brought some blankets that we're keeping up against them to soak up the drippage.

It feels like we're in a car wash - the wind picks up and slows down, just like being inside a wash and peering out of the windows of the car between cycles.

In other news, I continue to haul things up from the old apartment. The kitchen is finally starting to come together, thanks to lioncub's ministrations.

Heh. Hey, do you remember my roommate Erik from when I lived in Ghent? I know you met him. Anyway, he lives not too far from the first picture on this (http://www.hamptonroads.com/stories/br0918pixva.html) page - just a couple of buildings down, I think.
