New Desk/Storage Space

Praise the powers of Ikea, and witness the new home office space. ;-)

(and yes, you can see the edge of the portable sling in the first two photos)

It's higher than I'm used to typing at, mainly to fit the CPU underneath, but it's working well thus far and it's a perfectly fine height if I sit up like I should. Need to work on lighting and perhaps a small shelf or "hutch" thing on the side for some more table top storage. But is much nicer than what I had, and thus begins the eventually redecoration of my room...

Looks great. Storing your CDs and books nicely makes for such an improvement.

Now buy some more to get rid of those ugly plastic crates.

nice Tom Bianchi calendar. and do you like the chair? i've tried one before, but is it really good for your back if you use it often?

I love this chair. I can't imagine sitting at anything else at home. I've had it ever since I left for college waaaaaaay back in '90, so has been mine for over 10 years now (I've re-covered the thing once after the covering wore out). Love it. :) It does make you sit upright more because you don't have anything to lean on behind you. I don't know that they make them any more, though.
