Yeah, so I stayed home today (or, rather I didn't go to work today). Good decision, it turns out, as they let the Federal gov't out 3 hours early because of the encroaching ice storm. Silly OPM folks. :-)

I did coffee this morning and some shopping, but then came back to ensconce myself at home with some nice warm tea. This boy does not mess with ice, having grown up with it down in Tidewater (it rarely snowed; it more usually dumped stuff that turned instantly into ice).

By the way, what are you reading these days? I'm in the confluence of several tomes, including the last "Otherland," "Middlesex" and an early surrealist novel.
