Gotta love it when your boss gives you a piece of legislation to read and it's all about things you can't talk about outside the office. Whee. Even more fun is when it comes with a 'cheat sheet' (explanations of provisions) that is only half as long as the original document. :-/
The task for today is to be more mindful about how I sit at work. I've been slouching too much of late.
Worship the iPod. :)

How big? (not that size matters...much...)
Are you Mac or IBM...what do you think of the 2.1 software?

Date: 2004-03-06 04:32 am (UTC)Click on the little iPod icon in the lower right corner - it brings up the iPod panel. Check the version of the software on your pod. Likely it's already 2.0.x, if it's not 2.1, you can go to the apple web page (which is poorly organized) and download the 2.1 installer.
2.1 gives you a better battery meter, better backlight performance, and speeds up the menus if you are like me and have waaaay to many cds. I think it also improves battery performance...the 2.0.xs had crappy 'random' play batter life as they didn't load a series of songs into memory, just skipped around the drive at each song.
TMI, i'm sure. Enjoy the Pod! Don't drop it, squish it, fold, spindle or mutilate...or you'l be like Bunkytom and me...iPodless while your pet goes to the apple gods!
