A nice evening

Went out, had dinner with a friend, off to Happy Hour. Cavorted with boys, flirted shamelessly (is there any other way to flirt?), came home, got some good sleep. Headed to work to put the cover letters I wrote last night together with all the forms and mess I filled out yesterday and will hand-deliver three applications for attorney positions with another Big Government Agency. Woo-hoo! Just get me out of my current BGA and I'll be happy for a bit. ;-)

Is it condoned to print out apps for another BGA from one BGA? Here you are officially allowed to work on job applications if they're inner-company.

It's considered a "de minimis" use of equipment to print out "personal" business or copy it, or make (local) phone calls, or use the internet. So no big deal there.

That's government-wide, actually. We figure it's not worth the morale problems to try and police everyone's use of equipment so long as the use isn't egregious.

Oh, I completely agree. Problem becomes when you DO call someone on it, they can claim ambiguity in the definition of reasonable....

True, but by the time they get called on it, it's usually pretty obviously something that wouldn't be allowed.
