legalmooseYou wouldn't believe it's August in NYC - it's been no warmer than the mid 80s this week, nice low 70s for morning running in Central Park.
Went out with the coworkers for a large dinner this evening - the one big blowout this week for us all (wine, dessert, the works). Largest meal I've had here yet. I've been doing pretty well with keeping the eating under control (with the exception of having too much decaf of late, which always seems to happen when I travel).
Nice date last night with the med student I met a month or so ago (I can't remember the initials I used for him, and I don't have the net time or power to look it up). Veggie restaurant and walking around town. He stayed over (king sized beds are a good thing *grin*), had breakfast after my run this morning, and then back to the psych ER he's working at this summer.
Lunch with Jon from my email list today, Indian food down near my office. Was good to see him and got email from his this evening telling me he got the job he was trying for with one of the local CBS affiliates. Hooray! Was very glad to hear that.

virtualexile this evening while walking off dinner in Times Square. I do miss him a lot and look forward to seeing him when I get back to DC on Saturday. I need my snuggles. :)
Anyway, time for this Moose to get some sleep and attempt to rest some tonight. I'm suffering from "not my bed" syndrome and sleep has been an infrequent visitor here at the Sheraton Towers.
