Always nice when the first call on your cell when you get to the office is your doctor's office telling you that your twice-yearly HIV and syphilis screening came back negative on both counts.

;-p

In early this morning (9:00 a.m.! the horror!), going to try to knock out two projects if I can. Fun.

Oh, and having looked at the weather for today and seeing a predicted high of 76 with lots of rain, I decided to bring a sportscoat in because I'm tired of freezing in my office on normal days, much less ones where the temps outside drop and the AC goes with it. So of course the HVAC gods seem to have actually paid attention to a predicted temperature dip and it's nice and warm and muggy in here now. Dorks.

If only we could all have a thermostat at our desks and control the temperature near us. I wear polo shirts year round since even in the winter, it is warm here so a sweater would be too much. Negative test results are always good to hear.

I used to keep a cardigan sweater in my office for when the AC was set too high or for when I'd need to spend extended periods in the machine (server) room. If you've got the spare jacket, you might keep one in the office for Just Such An Emergency.

(I used to keep a sport coat in the office when I had the possiblity of having a last-minute coat-and-tie client meeting, back when I wore a tie every day. Came in handy on occasion.)
