GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING SON OF A WHORE! They closed off Lafayette Square (the park just north of the White House) for NO apparent reason and it took me almost TWO FUCKING HOURS to get home on the bus today. FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK.

I will be riding my bike to work until they reopen the bloody park again. MORON car drivers can't seem to cooperate at all in getting through the fucking traffic. They have bloody MPs downtown trying to direct traffic! HELLO?!?!? What kind of security threat do you think is even going to THINK about hitting downtown DC at the moment? Geez!

They are reporting here on the news that there was a bomb or bomb scare there this morning, and that troops had been mobilized.

*grrr* I wish they'd reroute the buses then, or get some traffic detours set up waaaaaaaaay earlier than right before the intersection that's closed. We have enough street closings in DC that you'd think they'd have worked out a better system by now.
