Dear Co-workers,

Please don't stop me in the hall when it's obvious I have not made it to my office yet, and have not been able to take off my rather warm outer coat. I appreciate that you want to chat, and I even appreciate that it's work related, but do let me get to my office and settle in before you smack me upside the head with something.

When that happens to me I just say, "Come long with me to my office so I can deposit this stuff and get a cup of coffee. We can talk along the way." It generally works well.

I hate when that happens! Or when you're sitting in the lunch room eating and they come in asking you question about stuff you don't have sitting in front of you....BASTARDS!!!!!
