If I remember, most of the Alien and Sedition Acts had quick expiration dates. But isn't most of the Patriot Act sans expiration?

As a non-lawyer, I'm confoooosed. Some of the Patriot Act must be about to expire, because otherwise Bush would not have made such a big deal about it.
