A little boy was given a homework assignment in which he was supposed to make up a story using the word "frugal." So, he asked his father what the word meant, and his father told him it meant to be saving.
This is the story he told in class the next day:
"Once upon a time there was a beautiful damsel who had been locked up in a castle tower by a wicked knight. But one day a good knight came riding by on his white horse. 'Oh, good knight,' cried the damsel in distress, 'frugal me, frugal me.' So, the good knight frugaled her and they lived happily ever after."
