Took today off as well, just didn't have the energy this morning to deal with work. Still did a couple phone calls to take care of some emergencies that had popped up, but otherwise ignored the work situation.

Spent a good part of the day, when not napping, in front of the TV with something or another playing in the background (thank heavens for DVDs of music videos, eh?) and plodding around on the Macromedia Developer site while playing with Dreamweaver and MySQL. Whee. Getting the thing to do what I want it to do is not always the most intuitive thing, and the particular directions I'm reading were obviously written by a Windows user ("right click on the folder..."), but I've gotten through "Part 1" of their "building a blog from scratch" instructions, and have started on Part 2. It is, thankfully, repetitive enough to learn some of the tasks enough that I'll be able to do this thing with my own settings once I'm done building the model.

And now is time to crash so hopefully I can get more sleep than the last two nights. I do feel much better, so I suspect sleep will be more natural. And hopefully the wild dreams of the last two nights will be a thing of the past (because, really, who needs a certain female LJer who shall remain nameless egging you on when being challenged to a fight on the school yard? especially when she joins in with you and you both kick the tails of the cast of a certain TV show that shall also remain nameless?). Night.

Macs can right click, if you give them properly equipped mice.

In fact, I wish they would just give up on the idea of the single mouse button. We're to the point now as a gadget using society that even the biggest luddites can handle this level of complexity.
