Out and About

legalmooseAside from having to sit up for half an hour hacking out smoke-tinged snot at 3 in the morning, the trip to JRs yesterday wasn't so bad.

lioncub's friends, as well as xavier78 and cjliotta. Cruised and got cruised by a cute latino on the way out of the bar. I suspect I'm getting bolder in my old age; I never would have been so blatant about cruising before. Was fun, and, of course, an ego boost.
Speaking of ego boosts, I go up to the bartender to get my first drink, a club soda with a lime (I know, heavy stuff there). He asks for ID. I give him a puzzled look and say, "For a club soda?" He mumbles something about making sure I'm legal to be in the bar. I get a bemused expression on my face, haul out the ID, hand it over. He looks at it, blurts out a startled, "Oh!", gets a very embarrassed look on his face and hands the ID back. I guess the 1972 DOB kinda threw him there. I grin like the cheshire cat, get my drink, tip him, and flit back to our group, ego suitably boosted. ;-) The joys of good skin.
