Managed to get ahold of the podiatrist's office and I have an appointment for 8:15 (!!) tomorrow morning. Means I get up and hop right in the shower to get a taxi earlier enough to get down there.

Added someone to my LJ yesterday/today,

die7fox, who turns out not only to be from the city I grew up in, but we also graduated the same HS in the same year. After much going back and forth we figured out who we each were (we've both changed a bit in the last, er, 15 years), and have had fun comparing notes. :-) Also, which is just TOO COOL for words, he was in touch with my friend

cthulugrrl !!! I lost track of this woman somewhere around our sophomore/junior years of college and could never find her. Have written her a stalkerish email (*grin*), and we'll see how/if she responds. Have missed her terribly, she was literally the ONLY person I stayed in touch with when I left HS (yes, I was that bitter about the experience as a repressed little queer boy).

So, a mixed day. Hopefully the doc will have semi-good news for me, and hopefully
