Cat

Just got off the phone with the shelter. The woman doing the phone interview was very nice (and lives in my neighborhood, with several good recommendations on vets and supply stores and what not). Now I have to get arrange the home visit and everything is done. Whee!

And she was talking about choice #1, the 8 month old with the white belly and tabby markings on top, so it seems he'll be the one. He gets fixed tomorrow, and I can take him home on Thursday, pending the home visit (I feel like I'm getting a social working coming over to see if I can adopt!).

Yeah, but when you get tired of it, it's much easier to find a restaurant willing to serve cat.

I used to have four with The Ex, but being a poor, starving intern at the time, they went with him (two years ago). 'Tis definitely time to get another and start anew.

No shit! I dealt with them, indirectly, both in grad student government and at Legal Aid in Missouri. Very, very perceptive folks...
