Not Quite an Update

Had a lot of junk going on with ye olde bodye and the tendonitis, so not been writing much. It is at times like this (when I can't really exercise) that I realize how much exercise elevates my moods and keeps me more stable and happy. :-/

Anyway, had a fun weekend, saw gregmce, urban_bohemian and apeliotes on Saturday and Sunday, was nice to have the first two over for dinner and dishing, and the to meet the latter finally in person. Thoroughly enjoyable on all fronts.

Work has been kicking my butt, throwing me down, and then kicking me over again the past two days (which wouldn't be so bad if I were in a serious S&M bottom mood, but, well, I'm not...). Won't go into details, but it's hurting my brain trying to see if we can do something that we really should be doing.

Have been very, very seriously considering moving over to a Treo 650 on Sprint based on comments and research here. My contract is up next month, and I think I'd like to consolidate down to the one device in place of the current two (Nokia 3650 and PalmOne Tungsten|C).

Anyway, have to run off to a GLAA meeting after work, so I'd better wrap stuff up and get ready to zip, er, hobble over.

Have you considered purchasing a Treo 650 (GSM version) unlocked?

I wish data plans were not 100 bucks CAN for unlimited..I used to be so digitally connected and organised before my move up here....you guys have the world's best cellular plans you know...here we have no nationwide roaming or included long distance...it's rough...I think I will go the Vonage route and get a DC number that I will forward to my Canuck cell phone and then make my friends in the States call me with their long-distance included cell plans.


I would stay with GSM....if you have an unlocked Treo 650 on GSM you can always switch your SIM out into a smaller phone for going out or whatnot instead of lugging around a convergence device all the time.....GSM offers flexibility in that regard...business by day, party by night.....why does this suddenly remind me of a mullet?

Anyway, keep me apprised of your final decision...I am an ignunt azz with regards to computing but I am quite in the know when it comes to cellular...I am a long-time phone whore and cellular technology freak.
