Went off to mai_neh and todc's Game Day yesterday. Saw a good variety of folks (jhim, boyred29, discord35, cheerfulchaotic, gregmce, cubdrummer, xavier78, cjliotta, jeimz, spiritquest, as well as Roger and Don). Used the hair of the dog to kill the hangover from the previous night spent hanging out with urban_bohemian. ;-) Good games, good folks, fun time.

While at the party, I hauled out my camera phone and grabbed a couple shots of discord35's little glowie penis...

Have you watched the half-hour "Making of the Incredibles" on the features DVD? It has a shot of Brad Bird doing the voice for Edna: "If you repress, you depress, darling. To impress, you must express!" It's about twenty minutes into the feature.

Whenever I house sit for todc or mai_neh, they manage to bring me back a little present. The first was a t-shirt that read, "Welcome to Seattle!" The second was a little rainbow-striped bear beanie with "Chicago" stitched on it.

This time was a gift from New Orleans, a string of plastic pearl beads with a translucent plastic penis dangling from it like some shaman's fetish. A translucent plastic penis with LEDs in the base to provide a blinking, flashing light show.

The penis had a tendency to fall from its pearl necklace (ha!) and the above photos were taken while we were playing around with it. boyred29 had it poking out of his fly, and the top picture has me descending upon it with my mouth open. :-)

I'm beginning to be concerned about where they might be going the next time they want me to house sit, but I think that there are few places like New Orleans, so I should be okay.
