Boredom

<whine>Okay, work today is really, really, really, really dull.

Dull enough that I keep coming up with excuses to leave my desk and walk around.

I can't take this. I need more (mental) stimulation in my work than just reading manuscripts. Especially when I'm not even allowed to pick apart grammatical errors unless they're particularly egregious and obvious (i.e., subject verb agreement).</whine>

The vast majority of my job duties since graduating from college have been things like filing, copying, collating, data entry. I went to college for this?

With my laptop out, I keep hitting LJ every few minutes. It's sorta keeping me sane. My job had never required my full faculties (which I like). It's just nice to have a job for once that I don't feel underpaid for obscene crap that one has to put up. None of that here.
