legalmooseAlways fun to see the aftermath of an accident on your way to work. It appears there was a chain-reaction accident between my building and the one next door, with one car missing most of its bumper and another had obviously bounced off a tree and ended up on its side. Fun! Lots of emergency response vehicles came down after I got past it.
And for some reason we single tracked on the Metro around the Shaw-Howard U stop on the Metro. I only noticed this when I realized the doors were opening on the wrong side of the car (an easy way for me to tune out on Metro is to get engrossed in a book until the doors open on the left side as my stop is the first one where the doors open on that side). There was a train parked on our normal side, but no indication of any trouble. Guess it broke down. Strange day.
And I'm told the plants are spitting out little plant sex-stuff like crazy today as well. A nice storm to wash that away would be good right about now, thanks.
