Running Out of Town
Apr. 24th, 2005 11:26 amRan this morning here at my parents' place. There' s a trail behind their house, used to be an old railroad bed, so I ran on that. Did about three and a half miles or so, the first half into a nasty little headwind that kept my hands nice and cold longer than they normally do while running. Of course that meant the trip back, into the sun, was nice and toasty because there was no wind to cool me down (or, rather, it was all going with me back to my parents' place). Whee! Not a bad run, a little muddy in places, and with an unfamiliar trail it was a bit slower than usual, but overall a good thing. I usually don't exercise when I come down to see them, so this was a nice change from the norm.
