Ah, this is why I stopped buying video games. Looked up and suddenly it was 12:30. Oopsie.

Let's see, to recap the day. Went to work, worked, left work early for an MRI. Had said MRI. Underestimated how much this MRI would Wipe Me Out. I mean, no energy whatsoever afterward. Just for lying under some really big magnets for an hour. Whee.

Stopped by Fatty's to see if the tool I ordered had come in. No go, but I did go ahead and check another item off my Uberlist - I went up to a 4ga on the PA. Whee. It does feel better to have metal back in there again.

Saw lioncub and some friends of ours at the Circle, bowed out of a more social dinner, grabbed some food and came home to zone out. Chatted with tenor_bitcher on the phone some, read email, checked LJ, deleted some TiVo stuff, then got sucked into Warcraft III (yeah, I just got it this weekend - I'm slow like that).

Swim clinic with the Tri Club tomorrow evening, which I'll go to directly from work. Should be good, and certainly more than the swim team has done for me.

Anyway, with that, it's crash time!

We should discuss our respective learnings from the swim clinics we have done.

The person who taught our swim clinic was doing a bit of a tour - is your teacher a visitor? Perhaps its the same one . . .

Nope, she coaches at American University, where we'll be doing the clinic. She also teaches a form of Total Immersion, which didn't sound like your australian thingey. I've read TI and done the drills for that, so this should be good feedback on how I've done on my own. We're expected to get some underwater videotaping, too, so should be quite cool. :)

Indeed, our instructor asked if anyone in our group had done TI; only two raised their hands, so she didn't continue down that track. I bet she has a whole speech planned to tell TI folks what they are going to have to un-think in order to get what she is teaching.
