Swimmingly

First open water swim today. Was realizing yesterday as I made plans to get out to North Beach today (south of Anapolis on the Bay) that the race is in two weeks. Eeck! Open water swim today, practice Tri next week, then the real thing the following week (the 19th). *tries not to hyperventilate*

That's very brave of you. I have an aversion to natural bodies of water because they contain critters. What's the water temperature?

It was cool, but not cold. Not sure of the actual temp, but it worked. :) And no critters this time. *grin*

Whee! :) I did indeed hop in. Managed not to swallow too much of it, either. Amazing how you can keep that stuff out when you're really motivated to do so. ;)
