Thunderous Applause

Or at least Thunder. Lots and lots of lightning in DC here tonight. Made for a lovely backdrop to dinner with K.

K is a young gentleman I first saw Saturday, though we've been flirting online for a week or two. Neither of us had plans so I invited him up to dinner this evening. Was a good decision.

Bed time now, but I'm wondering how well I'll sleep now that it's raining yet again, with yet more lightning zipping around out there. Is very loud (and no, the laptop is not plugged in, just in case).

Anyway, off to bed, then up tomorrow to swim before work, work, then after work off to return the wetsuit I rented for the swim Saturday (worth every penny).

Last night's storm was just plain awesome. :) Lots of forked lightning coming down in the distance, lots of loud thunder. Quite fun. It helps that my apartment is above the tree line with a large set of windows and almost 100 degrees of clear view, so I got a great seat for it. :)
