Mixed (Health News) Bag
Jun. 27th, 2005 06:49 pmSaw both the neurologist and the GP today to follow up on the eye thing from April and my bike accident from two weeks ago.
First, the neurologist. Who told me that the tests showed absolutely nothing wrong. No signs of MS, or stroke, or anything else. So we chalk up the eye thing to an odd day and do a follow up in a year to make sure nothing else went wonky.
Then, the GP. Looked at the wrist, sent me over for an X-ray. The radiologist found a chip fracture, so I get to go back to the GP tomorrow morning, likely for a referral to an orthopedist and see about what the treatment is (the web seems to say "short splint for 4-6 weeks" which ain't so bad). Whee!
So yeah, means I did the tri with a broken wrist. Fun!
In the balance, I'll take the broken wrist over MS any day of the week, though.
