DHS official succumb to reason, end useless "30-minute rule" for flights into Reagan National Airport

Took them long enough to realize the only thing they were doing was pissing off passengers and unnecessarily diverting flights to Dulles. ;-p

Wow. I'd never even heard of this. Then again, I rarely fly. It sounds like it was a nightmare.

It was more annoying than anything else. Everyone sitting, nervously, praying that someone's nervous wiggle wouldn't make the stewardess go off and divert the plane to Dulles. Ugh.
