Loose, Weekend, Eyes, Yahoo
Jul. 18th, 2005 12:31 pmThis pair of dress pants is about one pants size too big for my waist now and it's getting really, really annoying. I keep forgetting that 'getting down to race weight' will entail new clothes. As it was, I put on one of my favorite polos this morning to wear to work and the thing was hanging off my frame (I think it's a medium). I've grown used to the tighter polos from A&F (yay for moose-embroidered clothing), and something that loose just doesn't look like it fits well any more.
Went out to the 'burbs yesterday for a pool party and birthday party for our friend Doug M. He turned the big 4-0 this past week and gathered a bunch of folks to celebrate.
lioncub and I met Doug M. at CBE this past May, and most, though not all, of the folks who were there were CBE/Body Electric alumni. Got to meet some new folks, including AA, the gentleman with whom I'll be going to the Power, Surrender and Intimacy retreat this fall (we're driving his car up). Also got to see some familiar faces from last year's CBE session, which was quite fun. Lots of hugs, lots of casual touching, which is always a big plus for me.
The old glasses are doing well today, so if the other pair isn't under any sort of warranty I may just say fuck it and keep the ols prescription until it's time for my yearly checkup this November (which may itself get put off until January when I'll be using a medical savings account to purchase such things are new glasses and medications with pre-tax dollars). If it's not annoying me, I see little point in updating the prescription when it'll have to happen in 6 months again anyway. In the meantime I look all 'emo' boy again in the big black frames. A cute look, but one I'd grown accustomed to not seeing in the last 9 months.
Faxed materials to Yahoo this morning to prove I am who I say I am and that the phishers are not me. Hopefully they'll resolve that quickly and I'll get the account back. In the meantime, continue to ignore any IMs that come from that account and most especially DO NOT click the links provided therein.

Date: 2005-07-18 05:38 pm (UTC)Interestingly, no compromise has happened.
Needless to say, I changed my password a few hours afterwards, as soon as I saw your last post. They had about 3 hours to hijack my account, but now I have closed the window. At least one burgler got thwarted this weekend!
