Early, but not early enough
Aug. 8th, 2005 10:36 amGot up to do a weight workout this morning. The plan I'm loosely following has one doing 3-6 sets of 20-30 reps each of light weights (get the joints & what not ready for additional stress later). I got through 2 sets and realized I was going to be late for work if I did the 3rd. So, will have to get to the gym earlier next time. Of course, I'll have the sets mapped out a bit better next time, too, so hopefully it won't take as much time for each set.
Tomorrow is a swim in the morning and a run in the evening (then off to a party, which, conveniently, is caddy-corner across from the gym!). Whee. Thank heavens the YWCA has towel service (which is the prime reason why it will win out over the work gym any day of the week). Don't think I could do this if I had to keep hauling towels back and forth, too.
Also only having a small decaf this morning instead of the usual large. Need to ween the stuff down again with the increased activity.
