Duty, Dodged

Once again I had jury duty, and once again I've not been called for a panel. Thank heavens for slow court days. Released & headed home to change clothes and do some more grocery shopping.

Okay....so it's stupid question time.

This is all based on the fact that I think you're a lawyer of some sort. If this isn't true, just reply back with "Moron, I'm not a lawyer!"

Wouldn't it be difficult for a lawyer to serve on a jury? Wouldn't it be difficult to not cite other cases and verdicts that aren't actually cited in that trial?

Are you not disqualified automagically for being a lawyer? Even cops and law students aren't allowed up here. Hell, I dodged it when I used to work for Customs as a student.
